For the moment, I will finish testing with the "new" directory tree as
is: I'm already late, and I want to verify first that everything is
handled correctly.
After that, two solutions: flatten the source tree (but I do think that
the include directory is a mandatory one; it helps developers to think
about the data properties: global/local? shared or not?). Create a new
branch (2.x). Even if GRUB remains ia32, it is a good exercise to try to
think about others architectures. And this will help to rethink the
whole organization of the code.

But first, find some time to debug/polish...
