keyboard recognition

Hello,

Just thought I could get some help on this issue... GNU GRUB is not recognizing my normal keyboard... the keyboard is a Compaq Internet keyboard, and, as such, is connected using a Serial Port (I think). The problem this causes is that I can't select between the two different OS's I have installed. The default OS (Red Hat Linux 7.2) gets booted when the timer runs down. The only way I can get the other OS to load is by plugging in another keyboard through the USB port... anyway, please help me out if you can. I would like to know of a way to make it so my standard keyboard works with GNU GRUB so that I can boot either OS. Thank you for your time.
