protect the boot sector

what do you suggest to protect the MBR of the harddrive.
as in antivirus.
if there is an antivirus program for that.

Ie:
let say that i have 2 os's
win98 and xp and grub as the loader. 
am i going to have to buy a seperate antivirus for gurb and then another
version for xp/98


and on another note.
does any one know of a program that will multicast multiple partitions like
windows 2000 and red hat 7.2 to 30 machines at a time.
have tried power quest products. ghost and altiris products none seem to
work with linux very well.
