I have a splashimage in my boot directory, but grub does not display it.
Instead, it shows the text menu. I have been unable to find any information
on how to make the splashimage work with grub.
Is it supposed to be in a specific directory? I placed it in both /boot and
/boot/grub. Also, my /boot/boot is a symlink to /boot.
