fdisk /mbr will restore your DOS master boot record,
and that should do it.

Subject: removing grub
I had grub installed in my pc when I got LINUX mandrake 7.
Later on I fdisk and reformated my pc. Now I can not get my machine to
boot in DOS or any other OS, GRUB is always starting first and because
it does not find its files it stays in command line mode.
How can I remove this software.
Thanks.
Please email me back at: address@hidden <mailto:address@hidden> at your
convenience.
Thanks.
