I started maintaining the Debian package mostly because I was GRUB
maintainer, and GRUB is the bootloader for Debian GNU/Hurd (which I
wanted to help). Recently, I've been strapped for time, and so would
appreciate it if somebody such as yourself can spend the adequate
effort being Debian maintainer for it.
