grub>boot

and Linux was started. Hurrah.
Now about the setup and menu.lst:
I wrote grub> root hd(0,0)
Filesystem type is fat, partiotion type 0xc
grub> setup (hd0,0)
checking if "/boot/grub/stage1" exists...no
checking if "/grub/stage1" exists..no
Error 15: File not found.

and rebooting ended up by "kein Betriebssystem".. which is no system
found...computer stopped and had to be repaired in MBR.
What am I doing wrong ?
