Ok, I'l try. I'm no autoconf/automake expert so I might need some
assistance here later on :)

BTW:

Is there a bug in the automake-1.4a-for-grub? When I recreate the
Makefile.in files it don't set the DEPDIR variable and the final
makefile won't work. I solved this by manually putting a "DEPDIR = .deps"
into Makefile.in after generating it. Is this a known problem? Or could
it be that some of the other tools used (m4, autoconf, etc) are to old
or that the AtheOS ports of some of them are broken?
