    doc/groff.texi: Document 1-argument .ds behavior.
    
    * doc/groff.texi (Strings): Document behavior of .ds request when only
      one argument is supplied.  (The string is defined as empty.)  Thanks
      to Dave Kemper for the report and the patch.
