INPUT FILES:
Input file is "testfile" in attached files.tar
It is very simple:
.sp 1i
This is a test
.sp 0.3i
Phone Foo Bar
COMMAND LINE:
/opt/local/groff-1.22.2/bin/groff -C testfile> out_new.ps
DESCRIPTION OF INCORRECT BEHAVIOUR:
Incorrect Postscript produced by version 1.22.2 with -C flag.
That attached tar file includes a file "scriptlog" that
demonstrates a sequence of commands to see the problem.
With groff-1.21, the correct output is generated.
See the file out_old.ps is the attached tar file.
With groff-1.22.2, the output is messed up.
See the file out_new.ps is the attached tar file.
Note that this happens ONLY when the -C flag is specified.
Even if the first line of the file is ".cp 1", if the -C
flag is not specified, there is no problem.
