Description:
man pages with groff-1.18 don't fill the width of console.
man pages are approximately 80 columns wide. man pages with
groff-1.17.2 fill most of the console width.
echo $LINES $COLUMNS
90 240
Repeat-By:
/configure && make install groff-1.18
man gcc
/configure && make install groff-1.17.2
man gcc
Fix:
cd /usr/{local}/share/groff
cp -p ./1.17.2/tmac/an-old.tmac ./1.18/tmac/an-old.tmac
That's not the best, but it does the trick.
