Hello everyone,
here's a report for a problem I'm experiencing with GNU groff. I'm not sure
whether it can be called a bug, but since the README file explicitely
mentioned that even in this case, it should be submitted as one, I'm doing
just that.
If you need any further information or would like me to conduct further
tests, please just let me know. Thanks in advance for your help!
GROFF VERSION:
1.17.2
MACHINE:
Sun Ultra-1
OS:
Solaris 2.8
COMPILER:
gcc / g++ 3.0.4
INPUT FILES:
(n/a)
COMMAND LINE:
(n/a)
DESCRIPTION OF INCORRECT BEHAVIOUR:
When groff is compiled, a dependancy on libstdc++ can be observed in the
resulting executable. This is not desirable; while the machine that groff is
being built on has this library installed, other machines on which groff is
intended to be used do not.

When an animal is killed for its fur, two kinds of scavengers move in. The
only difference is that the flies don't know any better.
