mac os x xpass in test suite

Hi all.  Using grep 2.10 on

$ uname -a
Darwin arnold-robbinss-powerbook-g4-12.local 9.8.0 Darwin Kernel Version 9.8.0: 
Wed Jul 15 16:57:01 PDT 2009; root:xnu-1228.15.4~1/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh

I got an unexpected pass in the test suite, word-delim-multibyte. Let me know
if you want more details.

FYI, I had to build and install xz in order to untar the dist; I think it
would be better to continue using at least one of the other more widely
spread compression formats for the tar ball for the foreseeable future.

Even though this mac is old, it still works great, and it a good test
of something that isn't x86/x86_64/linux.
