Details:

make check fails on test-float test on PPC.

AFAIK recent GCCs use by default the double-double arithmetic for long double
on PPC and it is not compliant with the IEEE floating-point standard. Probably
disabling the long double part of test-float on PPC, or adding the
-mlong-double-64 to CFLAGS on PPC should resolve this.
