Cygwin 1.5 or 1.7? I'm hoping to look into it more this morning, but no
promises of a fix before grep-2.6.2. If it _is_ a cygwin bug, however,
then it is certainly easy to provide a cygwin-specific patch
independently of whether we release grep today, so I don't think it is a
huge showstopper, yet.
