Details:
Hi there,
i'm running into a strange behaviour of egrep.
I'm currently developing some bash scripts on my ubuntu linux egreb version
2.5.3 that should run on a linux server using egrep version 2.5.1
The strange thing is that the 2.5.1 version does not know what to do with the
regex "\s" for blanks. It just ignores it and the result is empty. If i
exchange the "\s" with a simple " " blank it works.
I had a look in the changelogs but i was unable to find a clue that there
were some changes in the regex syntax.
Thanks and greetings
martin
