Problems about -i option and --color option

Hello,
I downloaded grep-2.5.1a-2-setup.exe.  I have two problems about -i option
and --color option while operating on Windows XP.  These two options don't
work at all.
How could I solve these two problems?
Could you do me a favor, please?
