Test failures building grep-2.5.3

Hi, I downloaded grep-2.5.3 and built it on a Fedora 9 GNU/Linux system but 
some tests failed: foad1.sh, fmbtest.sh, yesno.sh.  The first test failure is

Testing:  ../src/grep Word -o -i
  input:  "WordA/wordB/WORDC/"
  output: ""
  expect: "Word/word/WORD/"
FAIL

Then there are several other failures.  The full log of building grep and 
running the tests (made using script(1)) is attached gzipped.
