Details:

Hi there,

I do not know whether it is the right place to put this post or not. Anyway,
I want to propose a new function for grep. grep already Supports Arabic
language. However, Arabic language has a special characteristic called
"Tashkeel Signs". Tashkeel Signs are additional marks above and below letters
that help the reader to pronounce the word accurately. When using grep with
Arabic text, if the desired word has "Tashkeel Signes" it will not appear in
the results because the two words seem deferent. So I want to add an option
like the option -i that ignores the case. But in my case, I will ignore the
"Tashkeel Signs" lets name the option (-it). I think it is applicable and
easy to develop. I really want to here from you about it and I need your
guidance thru the development stages.
I will appreciate your cooperation.

Regards,
Tariq
