Yes, indeed.  I think this might be one of the cases that was fixed by
Jakub Jelinek's recent work (although I'm not sure).  In any case,
grep-2.5.1-48 from rawhide (Fedora Core development -- the 'devel'
branch in CVS) gives the correct result.
