[Bug-gnuzilla] icecat 52.1.0 (64bit) - plugins not found [slackware 14.2 64]

Hello - good morning

Just upgraded to Icecat 52.1.0 (from 47.x.x) and whilst earlier
version listed plugins if installed (e.g. [adobe] flash ), 52 does
not.

The plugin .so is in the mozilla folder where it is expected and was
previously.  Firefox finds it and works ok (and openh264 is also listed
in FF but not IC).

In blind hope I have been through about:config in Icecat and can see
little difference to Firefox config settings.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled - still it does not list.

Rolled Icecat back to earlier version and all ok again.

Is anyone else having this problem and are there any suggestions
please ?
