IceCat has security defects, such as it was not updated from
firefox-45.0.0esr.bundle to firefox-45.6.0esr.bundle, a gap with 270 days.

IceCat is a good alternative to establish good privacy, but the security
is neglected because it is a small group of developers who can not keep
up with the browser. The good news is that the GNUzilla team search for
more developers. I've asked the GUIX icecat package maintainers to step in.
