In my opinion there should not be included any function linked
necessarily to only one service provider.
Do you imagine Google hard-coded to be the only search engine to use?
The oldest principle concerned is the possibility to write any URL in
address bar, but this is extensible to search textbox, synchronizing
functionality, add-ons source, "new tab" content, or others.
