Thanks to Narcis Garcia I've discovered Searx, "a privacy-respecting, hackable metasearch engine.". A complete list of Searx engines can be found at https://github.com/asciimoo/searx/wiki/Searx-instances

searx.me is the first instance found on the list. Can you please add it to IceCats search engine list?

Ultimately it would replace DuckDuckGo as the default search engine as searx.me is a meta search engine that includes DuckDuckGo, Google, etc, and can be customized.

For the sake of conceptualization we should include at least one meta search engine.
