I would like to make three comments:


1. Some free software provide plugins similar to the non-free ones. I
use gnash.

In 2010, Rob Savoye, who "has led the effort to produce a *free
software* Flash player, Gnash" received the Award for the Advancement of
Free Software. (b)

Build instructions in (d),(e). Or use binaries from your distribution,
or still, other instructions to buid in ArchLinux (f),(g).


2. Some people like IceCat because it is free software or other reasons,
use a distro which by default installs the proprietary software and do
not realise that the plugin is a PS, until someone tells him. I think
they could be *kindly* warned about it instead of being called
"senseless". And the free software community would have a victory, with
one more in the team.

3. Finally, the great Giuseppe Scrivano (thank you very much for all the
softwares you made and make available for us) is not any more
maintainer, because considered FireFox became free software, and then
Loic J. Duros stepped in as maintainer (thank you very much and good
luck, Loic) with security motivation in mind, if I remember correctly.

Between others, one more reason for me, is having options to choose.
