This is my workaround:
Under Preferences/Privacy/Exceptions I blocked "everything":
My blocked domains are .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .int, .eu,
.uk, .us, .it, .fr, .hr, .de, .pl, .si, .ua, .es, and www. as well.
You may add additional national domains if you visit sites which
display adds in pages you frequent. So, cookies from "everything"
will be blocked.
Now, just allow sites you frequently visit or must have their cookies:
Preferences/Privacy/Exceptions: your-bank.com <--hit Allow, etc...
Works like charm for me.
