Did you make IceCat aware of the plugin? I extracted 
icecat-3.6-rc1-386.tar.bz2 to my home folder. Then I installed 
swfdec-mozilla and made link to the plugin:

cd icecat-3.6-rc1-386/plugins
ln -s /usr/lib/swfdec-mozilla/libswfdecmozilla.so .

Then I started IceCat (cd .. && ./icecat), typed in www.radiotime.com, 
clicked WAMU 88.5 FM and I heard some guy trying to be funny.
