Hello,

Debian Iceweasel and GNU IceCat are based on Mozilla Firefox but they
are different browsers, with different goals and different
configurations. All problems reported with IceWeasel should be
directed to the Debian developers.

Anyway, I tried your "mafft" search using different lengths for the
'f' sequence and I didn't find any problem on GNU IceCat as well as on
Debian IceWeasel.

Are you able to reproduce this problem every time?
Do you have any strange extension installed (like a spell-checker)
that could have changed the form data? You should try without any
extension to be sure it is a problem with the browser.

Regards,
Giuseppe Scrivano
