Hi,

gnupod_INIT does not create a database, it just creates folders.
What did you do exactly? Did you run 'mktunes.pl' after
'gnupod_addsong.pl' ?

No, mktunes.pl writes both formats.. always..

If you didn't forget to run 'mktunes.pl', please try to install
GNUpod from sources [1].
The Debian package is Patched.. maybe they broke it again..
If it still doesn't work, send me the iTunesDB, iTunesSD and the
.gnupod/GNUtunesDB.xml files..
