I know this problem/bug: It happens with broken ID3 Tags.

Of course i don't need to call it .pl (.plx would be the right thing anyway..)
But i like to know if a file is a script or $something without using 'file'

Yes: UTF8 is (*sometimes) broken if i do it with
get_mp3tag($file, 0);
That's why i'm doing it twice.
It's fine that get_mp3tag() returns ^A, but it's bad that
it's written into the XML document without escaping.
Should be easy to fix, i'll create a fix for the XML-Writer.

Oh, thanks, i'll correct it.
(..when i can upload files again to gnu.org. They got cracked
2 times and it will get hacked again, they are still running
linux 2.4.18 on a box with public ssh accounts -> pfffr..)
