It's easy to see the list of those who "authored a patch"
for the last 4 years:
$ git log --since='4 years' |git shortlog -s
It's as easy to see the list of those who "committed a patch"
for the last 4 years:
$ git log --pretty=fuller --since='4 years' |git shortlog -c -s
There is no way to tell from the git repository who pushed these commits.
