My guess is that macOS doesn't uppercase 'i' to 'İ' in Turkish. That would
explain the test failure. At any rate, the Gnulib test should defend itself
against that sort of misbehavior. I installed the attached Gnulib patch and
updated grep accordingly.
Jeffery, a revised test-regex.tgz tarball is attached. You can test it the same
way as before:
tar xf test-regex.tgz
cd test-regex
./configure
make check
