Interactivity is bad for advanced users, and they will work around it
and hate you for being forced upon it.  That's one of the main lessons
from Windows interfaces.  Sleeping will just not be seen by those that
run non-interactively, and will be annoying to the rest.

Some gnulib-tool invocations could be mis-interpreted to sleep or wait
for user input, simply because they "compute" stuff for way longer than
60 seconds.
