Gnulib’s netdb.in.h does have:

but these are within “#if @address@hidden and AFAICS
@GNULIB_GETADDRINFO@ is always zero.

I would suggest simply leaving out “#if @address@hidden and
removing it from ‘gl_NETDB_H_DEFAULTS’.
