GNU clisp uses the appended stdint_.h and a few autoconf tests.
If you need only the types (not the *_MIN and *_MAX macros) and no
*_fast*_t types, it works well.
In order to be perfect it would need more ifdefing for old versions of
Solaris, HP-UX, AIX.
