That shouldn't be a problem if the gnulib dependencies are followed.
E.g., if some gnulib code depends on glibc malloc behavior, it should
depend on the malloc module, and the user will then get the desired
behavior.  (I admit I haven't thought through all this with the other
malloc attributes we're talking about.)
