Indeed some of the gcc-3.3/libiberty source files are of questionable copyright
status:
bcopy.c getpagesize.c were originally LGPL
bsearch.c written by Michael Sokolov <address@hidden>
copysign.c unknown
ffs.c written by Mark Klein <address@hidden>
getpwd.c was originally copyrighted by FSF
index.c rindex.c memchr.c by Per Bothner
strdup.c tmpnam.c vprintf.c by Per Bothner
waitpid.c by Per Bothner
msdos.c by DJ Delorie
random.c strtol.c strtoul.c BSD copyright with advertising clause
strcasecmp.c strncasecmp.c No modification allowed
xatexit.c "All rights reserved", i.e. neither modification
nor
redistribution allowed
That's what you get from not caring about copyright headers :-(
