Hi,
So far we have all been polite with each other, regarding each other's
code. But for the future, I would like to avoid incidents like the one
in http://mail.gnu.org/archive/html/bison-patches/2003-01/msg00042.html.
Therefore I have added a "Maintainer:" to each module, listing one or
more names of people. The idea is that you cannot make a change to a
module if one of its maintainers doesn't agree.
Initially I "determined" the maintainer according to these criteria:
Everyone is listed for a module he wrote, and Jim is listed for all
modules part of coreutils. You are invited to cross-check these.
In particular, I would like to ask that Paul doesn't make unnecessary
changes (such as "x >= 0" -> "0 <= x", or eliminating casts, or
controversial things like that) to modules whose maintainer list
includes "Bruno Haible". Even if I'm away in holidays for a month.
