I have had quite a few requests for help via email, bugtracker, and
posts to this newsgroup.

I have found a solution that I will likely use when creating the next
set of DMGs for OS/X. I likely won't get a full set rebuilt until Next
weekend however I have found a solution that should allow it to load X11
and launch our Application.

After downloading and installing GNUbg open up a command terminal and
issue this command (copy and paste it from this email is the easiest):

sudo curl www.capp-sysware.com/downloads/gnubg/gnubg.x11

This will replace the startup script for GNUbg to prelaunch Quartz/X11
and then run GNUbg. After issuing this command I recommend a reboot (to
clear out any copies of X11 that may have loaded or partially loaded).

You should be able to launch GNUbg by double clicking the gnubg.app in
/Applications . You should not have to start X11 manually.

Please give me any feedback if this does or doesn't solve the problem
satisfactorily. If it doesn't work I'll have to resolve the problem a
different way. When I am confident a solution works I'll use it for the
official release.
