Hi all.

I downloaded gnubg yesterday and I am facing a frustrating problem.

I try to set a new match like this:

The starting setup is Red are going from 1 to 24 and black from 24 to 1.
Gnu backgammon Vs. Human
Manual dice

I go to the "Modify Player settings" dialog box.
There, I want the red (player 0) to play manually, as human, and the black
(player 1) to be played by the bg engine.

Then I press ok button.

I get the message telling: "Moves for Tal must now be entered manually.
Moves for Opponent will now be played by GNU Backgammon.
Settings saved to C:\Users\dushkin\.gnubg\gnubgautorc.
Settings saved to C:\Users\dushkin\.gnubg\gnubgautorc."

Then I get the "dice" window to select who starts with which numbers.
I select a pair for the red one (Tal/player 0)

I get the message: "A new 1 point match has been started.
Tal rolls 6, Opponent rolls 2."

And the red one plays automatically!!!
But I asked it to play as human!

I can also tell the the "new" dialog box has a red exclamation mark icon on
its left. What does it mean?

Please advice.

Many Thanks, Tal!
