Are you referring to the area just beneath the board under the tray area
? I usually don't click down there but I see depending on which tray
(beneath where you bearoff or the opposite tray on your side) it either
clears everything or resets back to default position. I assume that is
what you are referring to?
It doesn't even appear you can change who is on roll by clicking there
(or on the arrow for that matter).
