OK I found it and it appears to work.

I would think the most user-friendly option would be to simply save the autosave file in the same directory as the original
and simply append the filename autosaved?

So..   matchxyz.sgf  simply becomes matchxyzautosaved.sgf  unless there is a specific reason why they need to have unusual temporary names and be in a separate directory?
