OK, let's recap:

Settings: World Class for both analysis and evalluation (with normal move filter,
keep at 2ply frmo 0ply 0 moves + 8 within -0.160).

1. I start gnubg and put this in: 2M4NCQgmtx0AKA:QQn3AGAAGAAA
2. Press hint: all moves are evaluated at 0ply (best is 24/18 23/18, second is
23/12/, at -0.201).

3.1 If I play 23/12* and at next turn I analyze the entire game, both moves are
evaluated at 2ply.

3.2 If I play 24/18 23/18 and at next turn I analyze the entire game, both moves
are evaluated at 0ply (like in hint).

Does the analysis always analyse the errors at highest ply, no matter the move
filters ?

MaX.

P.S.
Side note: in the settings/analysis and settings/evaluation there's no tooltip
(text appearnig when hooovering over a control) for the "Pruning neural nets"
control. Much needed !!!
