Cool, I'll check it out later.

I think you've summed up git well and don't think it's the ideal fit for gnubg
at all at the moment. I suggest we leave things with cvs/savannah for now and
when we get post version 1 (hopefully sometime this year?) we can look at moving
to svn (especially if we want to restructure the directories).
