Hi Matthias,
As others have said your requested feature is no longer part of GnuBG. However, the feature that you are looking for is available in BGBlitz by Frank Berger. His website is: http://www.bgblitz.com/ The feature is called the "Egyptian Rule" in BGBlitz and can be set through the "Game" menu. Set it like this: "Game --> Setup Game --> Egyptian Rule". BGBlitz is comparable in strength to GnuBG. According to data at Frank's website the two programs have played against each other four times at the ICGA's Computer Olympiad and BGBlitz won three of those contests. BGBlitz is not free like GnuBG, but it is very inexpensive. The player version is only $23.00 and there is an unlimited demo available.
                                                                Take care,
   Myshkin LeVine
