I have not seen this error message but I did see something odd like this
before. As an experiment edit bearoff.c and MOVE the lines (Delete from
their current location):

#if USE_MULTITHREADE
#include "multithread.h"
#endif

To the TOP of bearoff.c just below

#include "config.h"

So basically the top of the file looks like:

#include "config.h"

#if USE_MULTITHREADE
#include "multithread.h"
#endif

Let me know how it works for you.
