thanks for your answer.
I now tried "Version 0.16-mingw (build Aug  2 2007)" which is a month
younger (and still four months old). So far it runs stable and now I
can choose my own sounds, thank you very much.
In the other issues I could not make big steps, but I enjoy playing
GNUBG anyway. Thank you very much.
