Hi Jim,
you can have as many binaries (exe files) as you like and name them
whatever you like. So first download and run setup.exe and then copy
the new binaries to the program directory.
The important point is that the binaries are placed in the GNU
backgammon program directory (C:\Program Files\GNU Backgammon or
where the installation procedure decided to put your files). Also they
need to be started in that directory. The start menu and desktop links
normally take care of that.
