Hi Jorma,

The "evaluation" and settings are used for hints, rather than the
"analysis" settings.

You should use "set eval che pl 2" instead.

Regards,
Ian

Subject: [Bug-gnubg] setting ply analysis level

        Hi,

I'm using the 0.15 stable windows version of gnubg 0.15.
I'm using the non gui version (gnubg-cli.exe).

I have tried to set the ply level of analysis with the following
command :

        > set analysis chequerplay evaluation plies 2

I get the following confirmation :

        > Analysis checkerplay will use 2 ply evaluation

But then, when I ask for a hint:

        > hint

        I get, for instance:

           1. Cubeful 0-ply 8/3 6/3 Eq.: +0,093
              0,521 0,161 0,008 - 0,479 0,130 0,005
               0-ply cubeful prune [expert]

Does the 0-ply mean, that it is not evaluating at a 2-ply
level?
Is there another command that I should execute to set the ply
level?

        Thanks a lot.

        jorma k.
