Hi,
Thanks for all your help.
I did as you suggested and  the compilation succeeded till the end.
But when I run the generated executable file (gnubg.exe) I get the following error message:

Cannot find entry point of procedure xmlCatalogResolvePublic in dynamic link library  libxml2.dll

Any clues?

Just remove strdup.c from the source file list in the Makefile. It's not
in use anymore.
